Added sugar is found in processed foods and drinks. Added sugar also has NO nutritional value to it and is usually added to keep foods from spoiling. Sugar is either used by our bodies for ENERGY or sent to your liver for fat storage. It also can lead to heart disease, high cholesterol, it's linked to Alzheimer's Disease, and turns you into a sugar addict. Keep these little tidbits in mind when you're reading your labels and taking your sugar into account.
Your goal this week is to walk/run/row {fill in the blank} a mile 5 days this week. You can come in early to class, stay after class, walk your dog at night, jog on your lunch break, whatever that looks like for you. But get that extra mile in. If you run it - its 10 minutes. If you walk it - its 15 minutes. If you row it - its about 8 minutes.
Schedule your classes this week and make sure to get your 1 REP MAX in this week. The LEADERBOARD will go live tomorrow. When you enter your lifts each day, click on the LEADERBOARD and enter it there as well. Let's have a little friendly completition now that we are getting into a competition with our own weight we are lifting each week.
