Endurance Fitness

You are in your current situation because you have decided to be there. We all make individual choices and decisions that have gotten us to our current place in life. If you want to go somewhere else or be someone else, its up to you to make those choices today that will get you there tomorrow.

If you want your life to change, you have to change the quality of your thinking. Your thoughts are a direct reflection of where you are.

The starting point to our dreams are always the same. 10 years ago I wrote out several dreams that I wanted to achieve in a journal that I still have to this day.

My husband, Cliff, and I have been married for over 10 years. We have 3 beautiful children- Elijah, Emersyn and Sanders. I have been a personal trainer since 2006 and have worked in a variety of different places doing a combination of personal training and group fitness classes. Some of my clients to this day have become friends and some even like family.

Personal training and fitness is much more than the physical appearance. Often times our emotional state has altered our physical state and as a trainer, you have to get personal with individuals to truly find the root of the problem. And I love to love on them where I find them. I’m a firm believer that being “healthy” is not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

After many years of walking clients through transformation and being confident in my ability, I knew it was time to pursue my dream. A place of my own where any individual could walk in our doors and feel loved and cherished for where they are in their journey. A sense of security that they are safe and we can be trusted to help them reach goals. A place where the presence of grace would overwhelm them. I want them to experience a sense of security in our Creator rather than social media and comparison. I want a staff that exudes kindness and would build relationships like family for accountability. But most important, for our clients to find purpose in this life they lead.

I honestly feel like God has out done himself. Dreaming isn’t easy and the journey is not smooth, but we serve a Creator that is full of grace and has created us for purpose. In the midst of the chaos and details of pursuing the gym, I woke up one morning from a literal dream… and clear as day Endurance Fitness was born. Through the tears, the hurt, the guilt, the disappointments, and the many times I was told I could never do it, God’s plan was worth it. It’s my purpose. This is my vessel for His kingdom.

Endurance: “the fact or power of enduring an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way. A state of surviving; remaining alive. The power to withstand hardship or stress.”

Hebrews 12 says to throw off everything that hinders us and let us run with ENDURANCE the race that is marked out for us [our purpose], fixing our eyes on Jesus [pursuing Him].

What purpose were you created for? Push the lies aside, confront your insecurity, and wait on the Lord to speak to you and when He does- MOVE! You must be intentional on growth and your dreams! Everything worth while is uphill. So don’t let the hard things throw you off and make the best use of today!
